A busy Sunday in Benderloch
Added on 23 February 2020
St Modan's Church was full to almost overflowing on February 23rd. It was the annual 'Thinking Day Service' for our Parish Uniformed Organisations, when, following tradition, they gathered in good numbers to honour their founders, Lord & Lady Baden-Powell and to repeat the promises made when they were accepted into their various movements.
It was also a very special day for young Eilidh Buchannan who was baptised in front of many of her family and friends and all the members of the congregation.
Following the service and tea & coffee, many folk were able to make their way along to join the Guides, families & friends in the Victory Hall where a superb selection of soups and homebaking was on offer in support of Guide funds.
